Egypt’s PM opens first phase of $20m D.Doors factory in Sokhna Industrial Zone
Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Sunday inaugurated the first phase of the D.Doors factory in the integrated Sokhna Industrial Zone, with total targeted investments of up to $20 million.
The factory spans 35,000 square metres and is expected to create around 250 jobs. Its first phase covers 15,000 square metres and has investments of $12 million.
The factory produces wooden doors, wood-plastic composite (WPC) doors, finishing products, flooring accessories and wood-alternative wall cladding.
D.Doors targets annual production of 120,000 wooden doors, 168,000 WPC doors and four million linear metres of accessories and finishing products. Part of the output will be exported to increase Egyptian exports and reduce reliance on imports.
