EGX closes mixed on March 11

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday. The main index, EGX30 rose by 1.41 per cent, to 33,382.51 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 fell by 1.76 per cent, to 7,273.72 points.

The index, EGX100 index declined by 1.44 per cent, to 10,443.62 points.

The total market cap reached 2,196,361,159,307 Egyptian pounds.

Egyptians and Arabs’ transactions were mainly selling with a total of 13,555,990,131 Egyptian pounds, and 35,078,353 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 13,591,068,484 Egyptian pounds.

Top gainers on Monday

The shares of MM Group For Industry And International Trade (MTIE.CA) rose by 14.09 per cent, to close at the price of 10.610 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of E-Finance For Digital and Financial Investments SAE (EFIH.CA) climbed by 14.03 per cent, to trade at the price of 31.300 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Contact Financial Holding (CNFN.CA) jumped by 11.32 per cent, to the purchasing price of 5.900 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Monday

The shares of Misr Beni Suef Cement (MBSC.CA) fell by 14.04 per cent, to close at 44.320 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Cairo Poultry (POUL.CA) declined by 10.10 per cent, to close at 8.630 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Acrow Misr (ACRO.CA) dropped by 9.15 per cent, to close at the price of 48.930 Egyptian pounds a share.
