Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Sunday. The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.50 per cent, to 30,372.7 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 sunk by 0.33 to 3,123.77 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 soared by 0.50 per cent, to 8,452.57 points.
The index, EGX100 index rose by 0.23 per cent, to 11,558.99 points.
The total market cap reached 2,223,064,795,397 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and None-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 68,267,011 Egyptian pounds, and 189,523,148 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 257,790,159 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Sunday
- South Cairo & Giza Mills & Bakeries (SCFM.CA) shares rose by 15.49 per cent, to close at the price of 41.150 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool (GTWL.CA) shares climbed by 11.40 per cent, to trade at the price of 29.020 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Orascom Financial Holding (OFH.CA) shares jumped by 10.51 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.410 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- Raya Holding For financial Investments (RAYA.CA) shares fell by 6.61 per cent, to close at 3.110 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Golden Pyramids Plaza (GPPL.CA) shares declined by 4.29 per cent, to close at 1.340 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) shares dropped by 3.90 per cent, to close at the price of 4.190 Egyptian pounds a share.
