EGX earns L.E3.1b in Early Wednesday’s Trading, EGX30 exceeds 5100p

The EGX has managed to earn L.E3.1 billion during today’s first-minute trading; therefore, the market capital of the listed stocks has reached L.E371.920 billion.

EGX30 has witnessed a rise of %1.09 to reach 5121p. EGX20 has also witnessed a rise of %3.04 to reach 6078p. In addition, EGX70 has witnessed an increase of %0.57 to reach 4909p; the EGX100 has witnessed a gain of %1.31 to reach 8227p.

The market has recorded an amount of trading valued at L.E4.130 million through a volume of trading amounted to 1.573 million shares for the 361transactions.

This was after trading in 64 listed securities; the price of 49 rose and of 10 downed while the price of the rest (5 securities) remained fixed.

On Wednesday’s morning trading session, Arab and foreigner investors were responsible for selling activity for L.E543.662 thousand and L.E1.899 million respectively, while Egyptians made up L.E2.433 million of the purchasing activity.

The listed shares have recorded a collective rise except Orascom Construction Industries (OCIC) whose shares slid around %5.10 reaching L.E257.56 and Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) (ORTE) due to its shares slide of %5.95 to reach L.E4.16.

Elsewhere, the collective rise was led by Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT) which has witnessed a rise of %9.49 reaching L.E1.73. Then EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO) comes next for witnessing a rise of %085 reaching L.E13. The Commercial International Bank- Egypt (COMI) has witnessed an increase of %0.08 reaching L.E24.
