EGX halts trading on Orascom Investment Holding

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) decided to suspend trading on the stock of Orascom Investment Holding (OIH) as of the beginning of Thursday’s trading session.

All offers and orders registered on the company’s shares prior to the announcement were suspended, the EGX said in a statement on Thursday.

Trading on OIH’s shares has been halted to allow the company to spin out several financial services companies into Orascom Financial Holding (OFH).
