Egypt Air refuses the Investors’ Offer, Cairo-Taba

Egypt Air Company refused the offer (Cairo-Taba) presented by Nuweiba Investors Assembly; as this for operating the interior flights between Cairo and Taba and also to reactivate the incoming tourism to Taba and Nuweiba as well as marketing the tours through tourist programs include accommodation and aviation.

Sami Suliman, head of Nuweiba Investors Assembly, said the assembly has set a plan for reactivating tourism in Taba that depends on operating Airline Company between Taba and Cairo. And the hotels have to decrease individual stay per night to EGP 100 for the Egypt Air’s passenger only. This makes a 4 days-3 nights tour costs only EGP 900, including flight.

He explained that the company refused the offer because of not achieving high occupancy on flights; although this offer is distinctive and will achieve high occupancy. He mentioned also the company asked the participation of ministry of tourism and South Sinai governorate for tours.
