Egypt lauds UAE’s swift actions regarding Ras El Hekma project

Egypt’s Prime Minister commended the UAE for promptly initiating the Ras El Hekma contract, paying the first payment, and enlisting major international consulting firms to carry out the plan, as reported by the cabinet on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly’s remarks came during his meeting with UAE’s Minister of Investment and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund Mohamed Alsuwaidi, to discuss the development of Ras El Hekma city.

He confirmed that the selection process for the airport site for the Ras El Hekma project has started, and one of the proposed sites will be chosen for implementation soon, according to the statement.

They agreed to expedite the completion of the final framework of the first phase of the Ras El Hekma city development project, in order to receive the building regulations for each project.
