Egypt to organize a trade mission of 30 businessmen to Tunisia next week

The Federation of Egyptian Industries is organizing a trade mission to Tunisia between 26 and 28 April; the mission encompass 30 businessmen working in all industrial sectors, Head of the Arab Cooperation committee at FEI Mohamed el-Bahy said Wednesday.

FEI is arranging the mission in cooperation Agadir Technical unit, Egyptian Commercial Service, and the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX).

El-Bahy told Amwal al ghad that both the Egyptian minister of industry and the minister of cooperation would preside the trade mission; in addition they will meet the Tunisian minister of industry to discuss the means of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The mission is aiming to discuss the possibility of achieving industrial integration between the four Agadir Agreement countries and open the doors to maintain a real industrial cooperation between them.

The Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) is one of the country’s largest employers’ associations, with 20 industrial chambers as members, representing over 60,000 industrial enterprises out of which more than 90% belong to the private sector; accounting for more than 7 million workers and 20% of the national economy.
