Egypt reaffirms support for Gaza ceasefire, reconstruction

Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdel Atty reaffirmed on Thursday the country’s commitment to sustaining the ceasefire in Gaza and advancing early recovery and reconstruction efforts without displacing Palestinians.

He stressed the importance of implementing all phases of the ceasefire agreement to ensure stability and progress in the region.  Abdel Atty made these remarks during a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Paris.
