Egypt has all key strategic goods sufficient for 6 months – PM

Egypt has a secure stockpile of all key strategic goods, sufficient for at least six months, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said in a news conference on Thursday.

Prime Minister Madbouly reassured citizens that the government has long been implementing measures to ensure food security and prevent shortages. He emphasised that there is no need for panic buying, urging the public to adopt responsible consumption habits and avoid unnecessary stockpiling, which can lead to waste.

It is crucial to change consumption patterns to reduce pressure on national resources and maintain stability, Prime Minister Madbouly stated, calling for collective responsibility in managing supplies efficiently.
