Egypt repaid $6.8 billion in foreign debt in Q1 – c.bank
Egypt repaid $6.8 billion in foreign debt throughout the first quarter of the year, the central bank said in a monthly report on Tuesday.
The money included $5.66 billion in debt installments and $1.14 billion as interest.
In the October 2019-March 2020 period, the central bank said the country repaid around $10.8 billion.
