Egypt, Serbia discuss manufacture of chemical warfare protection equipment

Egypt and Serbia discussed on Monday boosting cooperation over the manufacturing of chemical warfare protection equipment.

This came during Minister of State for Military Protection Mohamed Saeed el Assar’s meeting with director of Serbia’s Trayal Corporation Milos Nenezic.

The talks tackled forging strategic partnership between Egyptian military production companies and their Serbian counterparts.

Assar reviewed the ministry’s strategy based on partnership with state bodies to carry out national development projects and its cooperation with different companies to make the best use of modern technology in the equipment manufacture domain. He said the ministry’s main role revolves around securing needs of the Armed Forces from weapons, ammunition and equipment.

The Serbian official lauded technological potentials of the Egyptian military production companies, saying his company has been cooperating with the Egyptian ministry-affiliated companies for years.

He lauded current stability in Egypt and ambitious economic reforms meant to attract more foreign investments.

He added that his company will seek to settle the technology of chemical warfare protection equipment in all companies affiliated with the ministry.
