Egypt to Dig 30 Water Wells in Tanzania

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel-Moteleb attended the signing ceremony of an agreement to dig 30 water wells in Tanzania.

The agreement, which will be financed through an Egyptian grant, will be implemented by the Irrigation Ministry and the General Company for Research and Groundwater (REGWA).

The signing ceremony was attended by Tanzanian Ambassador in Cairo Mohamed Haji and a host of senior officials of the Ministry of Irrigation.

During the ceremony, Abdel-Moteleb stressed Egypt’s keenness to boost cooperation with all Nile basin countries in general, and Tanzania in particular.
