Egypt’s General Authority for Supply and Commodities (GASC) has signed contracts to import 60,000 tonnes of wheat from Romania.
According to the statement issued by GASC, the move is part of the authority’s efforts to augment its wheat stock.
The wheat shipment will arrive between August 2-12, the authority added.
According to a Reuters’ report , the authority’s purchase tender for wheat attracted a lowest offer of $196.96 per ton for 60,000 ton of Romanian wheat
