Egypt, UAE review progress on joint industrial, energy projects

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly reviewed the progress of strategic joint projects between Egypt and the UAE on Sunday, with a focus on industrial development, energy, and infrastructure.
The high-level meeting was attended by UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber and UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, along with their delegation.
According to Cabinet spokesperson Mohamed El-Hammasy, the meeting highlighted significant advancements in Egypt-UAE collaboration, particularly in the industrial sector, with key projects planned for Ras El Hekma, a region poised for major economic transformation. These ongoing projects align with Egypt’s broader development goals, reflecting the strong momentum in bilateral cooperation.
The talks also covered crucial joint ventures in petroleum, gas, data centers, airport management, and renewable energy, including the large-scale solar energy projects in Benban. These initiatives are set to bolster Egypt’s infrastructure, enhance energy sustainability, and drive industrial growth.
