Egyptian delegation will visit Iraq in a few days

An Egyptian delegation consists of a number of ministers, visits Iraq during the coming period to deepen the joint commercial and investing cooperation between the two countries and the participation of the Egyptian company in reconstructing Iraq projects.


Momtaz Al-Said, the finance minister, assured that all Egypt’s experiences are for serving the sectors of all brotherly Arab countries, and he welcomed the cooperation with the Iraqi government to transfer the Egyptian Experience in gender responsive budgets.

The minister received today a delegation of Iraqi officials after their participation in course in Cairo, organized by UN Women jointly with the Egyptian finance ministry that aim to show them the Egyptian Experience in gender responsive budgets; as these budgets aim to achieve equal opportunities  between sexes in order to benefit from the state budget’ funded programs.

Aymen Goher, the head of finance minister’s office; on his side,  explained that the ministry jointly with UN arranges another visit for a group of Iraqi politicians from the Iraqi parliament and cabinet, and representatives of civil society organizations which operating in women fields, budgets and academics specialized in general finance
