Egyptian Exchange Briefing 13/03/2023

The Egyptian Exchange witnessed a huge drop in the majority of its indices on Monday, with EGX 30, the main index, dropping by -3.13 percent. The index opened at 15438.5 at morning trade and closed at 15438.5, recording a day high value of 16088.99, and a day value low of 15274.66.

EGX 70 EWI fell by -7.29 percent to close at 2749.43, when it opened at 2965.67. The index recorded a day high value of 2983.55 and a day low value of 2748.99.

EGX 50 EWI declined by -4.83 percent to 2638.37. The index opened at 2772.29, and recorded a day high value of 2797.31 and a day low value of 2621.64.

EGX 100 EWI tumbled by -6.25 percent to close at 4075.75, when it opened at 4347.69. The index recorded a day high value of 4377.38 and a day low value of 4063.08.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around 35 billion Egyptian pounds today.
