Egyptian Investors to Launch EGP1bn Area to Invest in Suez Canal Project

Head of the Egyptian Federation of investors Mohamed Farid Khamis said the Federation is considering the launch of full area to invest in Suez Canal Axis Development project with EGP1 billion capital.

This area will include the participation of 40.000 investors with 45% from the project as well as offering the remaining rate to the small investors throughout Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) Khamis added.

This comes during the meeting of Dr. Ashraf Salman the Egyptian Investment Minister with Mohamed Farid Khamis besides a number of associations’ heads in various governorates and with the presence of Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAIF) to review and discuss some challenges which facing Federation of investors and the ways to overcome these challenges.
