Egyptian-Emirati Talks to Support SMEs

The Egyptian and Emirati Chambers of Information Technology to hold a meeting next October, with the attendance of small and medium-sized enterprises that work in the same field.

Eng. Hossam Al-Samad, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, said the meeting is considered as the first step of cooperation with Arab countries, aiming at exchanging experience and encouraging transactions among Egyptian and Emirati companies, in the framework of the Chamber’s plan to promote foreign exports.

He added that the Chamber plays an important role in supporting small and medium-sized companies in different fairs such as GITEX, Cairo ICT, pointing out that the costs of the meeting will be incurred by the Chamber and the member countries.

After its cooperation with the medical and tourist chambers, the Egyptian Chamber of Information Technology is currently seeking cooperation with the rest of the chambers of the Egyptian Federation of Industries through holding agreements. Moreover, the Chamber is also working on building rapport with Civil Society Organizations, such as “Etisal”.
