Egypt’s National Elections Authority has launched an online service to help voters to find their polling stations for the upcoming presidential election on 26-28 March.
The tool on the NEA website allows Egyptian citizens to find out their constituency as well their polling station using their national identity card number.
The NEA stated that it has updated voter records until 1 January 2018.
In 2015, the number of eligible voters in Egypt was at least 54 million.
Egyptian citizens have the right to vote from age 18.
Those with mental disorders, who are under judicial interdiction, or who have been convicted of a felony, are disqualified from voting.
Two candidates registered their desire to run with the NEA prior to the deadline; incumbent President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Moussa Mostafa Moussa, the leader of the Ghad party.
