Ezz Dekheila Steel H1 Net Profit Rises 203%

Egypt’s Al Ezz Dekheila Steel Co. (IRAX.CA), a unit of Ezz Steel (ESRS.CA), posted a 203 percent rise in its first half net profit to EGP 705 million, against EGP 232 million for the same period a year ago.

Meanwhile, the firm has posted a H1/13 standalone net profit of EGP 696 for the first half of 2013, compared to EGP 436 million for H1/12.

Furthermore, the long-term total assets have hiked to EGP 11 billion in H1/13, opposed to EGP 10 billion in H1/12.
