Egypt’s Finance Says T-Bonds Worth EGP4 bln Sold Today

The Egyptian Finance Ministry sold today 5- and 10- day as well as 18-month treasury bonds  valued at EGP 4 billion.

Through its official website, the Egyptian ministry noted that it has offered 18-month zero-coupon treasury bonds which worth EGP 1billion, recording 10.745% as an average interest rate, the highest is10.82 % ,the lowest is10.65 % and 3.16 times has been covered.

The Ministry has announced for the second 5-years offering worth EGP 1.5 billion, which has been covered 1.95 times, registering 11.715% as an average interest rate, the highest is11.769%; while the lowest is 11.65%.

Third, the 10-year offering worth EGP 1.5 billion had been covered 2.64 times, reporting 14.398% as an average interest rate, the highest is 14.45%; while the lowest is 14.30%.
