Egypt’s Foreign Ministry: NGOs Draft Law ‘Internal Affair’

A Foreign Ministry spokesperson asserted on Sunday 2/6/2013 that the new NGOs draft law is an internal affair of Egypt.

The remark came while commenting on a recent US Sate Department’s statement on Egypt’s new NGOs proposed law.

The spokesperson said that a national dialogue will be held to discuss the bill.
 
Egypt’s government understood the role of NGOs in Egypt in boosting political, economic, social development in the country. Egypt’s presidency has referred the draft last week to the Shura Council for debate.
