Egypt’s pharmaceutical market value tops EGP308b

Egypt’s pharmaceutical sector has reached a market value of 308 billion Egyptian pounds, solidifying its position as one of the largest and most dynamic in the region, according to a statement from the Egyptian Cabinet on Thursday.

The announcement highlights the industry’s rapid growth, driven by increased local production, expanding exports, and rising healthcare demand. As Egypt continues to strengthen its pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities, the sector is expected to play a pivotal role in the country’s economic and healthcare strategies.
