IMF to complete Egypt’s fifth programme review by June-end

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is set to complete the fifth review of Egypt’s economic reform programme before the end of June, aligning with the current disbursement schedule, said its head of mission on Wednesday.

Speaking at a virtual press conference, Ivanna Vladkova Hollar stated that if the IMF Executive Board conducts the review as expected, the corresponding loan tranche will be disbursed immediately upon approval.
