Egypt’s PM appoints New ICT Infrastructure Director

Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahleb issued a decree to assign Khaled El Attar as an ICT Infrastructure Director at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) for one year.

ICT Minister Khaled Negm has said that El Attar has over 30 years of experience in supervising the execution of more than 100 projects in informatics in: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Germany and the United States.

El Attar occupied a leading position in IBM for 28 years and Raya Company, besides his work as an assistant in Cairo University for a period of one year.

El Attar holds a B.A. of engineering with honors and MBA of business administration at the Arab Academy for Science Technology & Maritime Transport. Moreover, he currently studies for the doctoral degree in the change management at the University of Liverpool.
