EU supports Egypt’s Technical Education with $128million

The European Union has provided €117 million-grant (US$ 127.6 million) to develop the technical education in Egypt, Mohamed Youssef – Minister of Technical Education and Training- said on Thursday.

Technical Education Ministry has started applying a strategy to upgrade technical education in cooperation with EU, Italian associations, and businessmen, the minister stated.

Youssef elaborated that ministry’s strategy includes helping the student to get a job after graduating in local and international labour markets.

Moreover, the ministry is working to solve all the problems facing technical education through enhancing and supporting positive examples as well as using available resources efficiently to provide decent education in technical education schools.
