European markets briefing 08/05/2023

The European markets witnessed a drop on Monday in the German main index, DAX, by -0.05 percent to 15,952.83 after it lost 8.19 points.

The French main index, CAC 40, rose by 0.11 percent to close at 7,440.91, gaining 7.98 points throughout the day’s trade.

London’s Stock Exchange did not trade on Monday due to the holidays in the country.
