European Stocks Closing Times on Christmas Eve

Several European stock markets are closed on Tuesday, while many other bourses end trading midday in recognition of Christmas Eve. Bourses in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Iceland and Italy are fully closed for trade.

The U.K.’s FTSE 100 index UK:UKX +0.46% is scheduled to settle at 12:30 p.m. London time, or 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time, while France’s CAC 40 index FR:PX1 +0.34% , the Netherland’s AEX index NL:AEX +0.28% , Portugal’s PSI 20 index PT:PSI20 +0.51% , Belgium’s BEL 20 index BE:BEL20 +0.29% and Spain’s IBEX 35 index XX:IBEX +0.64% are due to close around 1 p.m. London time.
