European Union to send Ukrainian grain for Egypt

The European Union (EU) plans to supply Ukrainian grain to Egypt within the framework of the expansion of the agreement on migration and economic support, according to the Financial Times on Monday.

“Egypt is very open to a comprehensive partnership,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said following the EU summit on Friday. She said the deal would follow “a similar blueprint” as the one sealed with Tunisia.
