Foreign holdings of Egyptian treasuries at EGP 392.5 bln by April-end – CBE

Foreign holders of Egyptian treasuries stood at 392.499 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of April 2023, compared to 379.590 billion pounds by the end of March 2023, according to the Central Bank of Egypt on Thursday.

CBE’s report has further revealed that the public sector banks’ investments in Egyptian treasuries recorded 222.459 billion pounds by the end of April, compared to 245.680 billion pounds by the end of March.
