Tesla produces its first Cybertruck

Tesla has produced its first Cybertruck, two years behind schedule, and four years after CEO, Elon Musk, revealed the prototype, the automaker announced in a tweet on Saturday.

The futuristic Cybertruck, which has an exterior made from a stainless-steel alloy, was built at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Texas.

The truck’s prototype in revealed in 2019 it has unbreakable windows, but the demonstration backfired when a metal ball thrown at the windows broke them.

Tesla was quiet about its Cybertruck plans until it announced in 2021 that it is working on an updated version, with Musk saying it couldn’t debut new anticipated vehicles, like the Cybertruck pickup, due to supply chain issues.

Tesla, however, announced in January that production of the Cybertruck would start in late 2023, while it had previously said volume production of the vehicle is expected in 2024.
