ICIEC providing insurance solutions for private sector in 48 member countries

The Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) is working to provide insurance solutions for the private sector within 48 Islamic member countries, senior underwriter Moataz Zawam said on Monday.

Speaking at the seventh edition of Builders of Egypt Forum, Zawam said the move aims to effectively contributing to strong economic and trade cooperation strategies in the upcoming period.

ICIEC’s strategy focuses on supporting exports between member countries as well as lending hands to developmental and infrastructure projects there, he added.

In addition, ICIEC also aims to provide the necessary guarantees to cover all risks facing developmental projects in member countries, notably civil wars, difficulties in money transfers that face foreign investors there.
