IMF projects 4.1% growth for Egypt’s economy in FY2025-26

Egypt’s economy is expected to grow by 4.1 per cent in the 2025-2026 fiscal year, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Ivanna Vladkova Hollar, head of the IMF mission to Egypt, announced the forecast during a virtual press conference, highlighting the country’s economic resilience and ongoing reform efforts.

The projection comes as Egypt continues to implement structural reforms aimed at enhancing economic stability, attracting foreign investment, and boosting key sectors. The IMF’s outlook underscores confidence in Egypt’s growth trajectory despite global economic challenges.
