Barack Obama, the former U.S. President, stated on Monday that Israeli military approach that disregards the human costs of the conflict in Gaza “could ultimately backfire,” adding that it would weaken their international support.
The Israeli government’s decision to cut off food, water, and electricity to a captive civilian population in Gaza would worsen a growing humanitarian crisis, according to Obama’s statement.
According to Health authorities in Gaza announced that over 5,000 people have been killed since the Oct. 7 start of the war between Palestinian militant group Hamas and Israel and more than 15,000 have been injured.
