Italy Sends a Delegation of 100 Private-sector Firms to Egypt Next February

An Italian official delegation will be visiting Cairo next February, Italian ambassador to Egypt Maurizio Massari announced.

According to Massari, the delegation will encompass representatives of 100 Italian private-sector companies, aiming to exchange bilateral expertise with Egyptian counterparts.

The visit comes in the light of Italy and Egypt’s keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in fields of transport, logistics-related industry, textile, energy, and infrastructure, Massari said during a press conference convened on Saturday.

The sectors of energy, food, logistics, and transport are vital to Egypt’s economic growth, the Italian official elaborated, stressing his country’s commitment to supporting such sectors.
