LG Electronics opens a new premium brand shop in Egypt

South Korea’s LG Electronics announced Sunday opening its new premium brand shop at Mall of Egypt in the Sixth of October City, bringing its total brand shops in the country to 34.

Don Kwack, managing director for LG Egypt, said the company is proud of the high growth rates it recorded lately in Egypt challenging the country’s ongoing economic challenges.

LG has nine premium brand shops worldwide, including two in Egypt.

Dubai-based mall operator Majid Al Futtaim has opened in March its latest flagship in Egypt, Mall of Egypt, a two-level mall features over 350 outlets and 50 food and beverage outlets, including Ski Egypt, Africa’s first ski slope, and the country’s first VOX Cinemas Cineplex.

The mall spans a gross leasable area (GLA) of 165,000 square metres and provide customers with 6,500 parking spaces.
