Ministry of Tourism rejects 10 Floating Hotels’ Licenses

10 floating hotels harbored grievances to ministry of tourism in order to cancel the ministry’s decision of ending the hotels licenses due to their suspension for 24 months.

Mohamed Ayoub, the head of floating hotels division in Egyptian Hotels Association, explained that the hotels sector in the ministry of tourism b=headed by Osama Al Ashry decided to cancel the licenses of the hotels  after they suspended for 24 months was due to the lack of the necessary cash.

Ayoub said that the ministry granted the hotels a deadline till the end of 2012 in order to renovate these hotels; about 80 hotels.

He said that the division submitted a demand to the ministry of tourism to cancel the decision and extend the deadline.
