OTMT Tops Egypt Bourse’s Traded Volumes in February

Through February, Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding S.A.E. has managed to lead the top ten active firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange, with 1.174 billion securities.

OTMT(OTMT.CA on EGX)’s amount of turnovers hit around 448.1 billion through February. The stock closed the month at EGP 1.36.

Amer Group Holding (AMER.CA on EGX) ranked second as its volume of trades amounted to 848.6 million securities worth EPG 1.093 billion. The stock finished the week at EGP 1.49.

Egyptian Resorts – ERC (EGTS.CA on EGX) came third reporting a volume of trades of 472.3 million securities worth EGP 736.9 million.

Fourthly, Palm Hills Developments (PHDC.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades hit 339.1 million securities worth EGP 1.091 billion.

Fifthly, Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades reached 281.6 million securities worth 528.3 million.

Sixthly, Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA on EGX) recorded a volume of trades reached 279 million securities worth EGP 339.3 million.

Arab Cotton Ginning (ACGC.CA) came seventh having a volume of trades reached 201 million securities worth EGP 1.067 billion.

Upper Egypt Contracting (UEGC.CA) has been ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 180.7 million securities worth EGP 403.3 million.

Arab Real Estate Investment CO.- ALICO (RREI.CA) has been ninth reporting a volume of trades reached 144.5 million securities worth EGP 181.6 million.

At the bottom of the list, El Nasr Clothing & Textile (KABO.CA) came tenth recording a volume of trades reached 142.5 million securities worth EGP 161.4 million.
