OTMT Tops Volumes Traded on Egypt Bourse in Week

Egypt’s Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding ranked first, capturing the highest volumes traded among ten active firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange throughout last week’s trading.

Orascom’s (OTMT.CA on EGX) attained a total volume of trades amounting to 130.3 million securities, with turnovers worth EGP 152.8 million through last month trading sessions.

Coming second on the list, Amer Group Holding (AMER.CA on EGX) as its volume of trades amounted to 90 million securities worth EPG 107 million.

Palm Hills Development (PHDC.CA) came third reporting a volume of trades of 40.6 million securities worth EGP 177.8 million.

Fourth, Qalaa Holdings (CCAP,formerly Citadel Capital) (CCAP.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades hit 27.7 million securities worth EGP 122.8 million.

Fifth, Egyptian Resorts – ERC (EGTS.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades reached 25.6 million securities worth EGP 38.4 million.

Sixthly, Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA on EGX) recorded a volume of trades reached 22.1 million securities worth EGP 34.4 million.

Global Telecom Holding (GTH) (GTHE.CA on EGX) (Previously Orascom Telecom Holding) came seventh having a volume of trades reached 18.8 million securities worth EGP 98.1 million.

United Arab Shipping (UASG.CA on EGX) has been ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 17.3 million securities worth EGP 26.3 million.

Talaat Moustafa Group (TMGH.CA on EGX) has been ninth reporting a volume of trades reached 16.5 million securities worth EGP 181.1 million.

At the bottom of the list, Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA on EGX) has come tenth recording a volume of trades reached 14.3 million securities worth EGP 22.4 million.
