Egyptian People’s Assembly referred on Tuesday, during the general session, the constitutional court’s verdict to the appeal court in order to judge on the authenticity of the MPs membership.
The People’s Assembly’s president, Dr Saad Al Katatni, said the appeal court specializes in judging on the membership authenticity of Parliament, pursuant to Article 40 of the constitutional declaration issued in March 30, 20121.
Al Katatni started today the PA’s session; saying President Mohamed Morsi didn’t violate the constitutional court’s verdict of annulling the election’s law of the PA.
He suggested on the MPs to refer the case to the appeal court; calling them to vote. The MPs approved and the president ended the session.
