Princess of Wales wears upcycled dress at BAFTAs red carpet

Catherine, Princess of Wales has arrived on Sunday night at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) in London, dazzling in an upcycled Alexander McQueen gown paired with flower shaped charms earnings from Zara.

The shoulders of Middleton’s floor-length dress had been altered since the last time she wore them in 2019. The shoulder had featured floral details; which were replaced with elegant draping from the same dress fabric for this year’s event.

In addition to the retailer’s earnings that estimated a value of $28 earrings, Kate went for a black pair of opera gloves and let her hair down flattering her graceful look.

Several other celebrities have also chosen the same colour palette for a night that included a tribute to the deceased Queen Elizabeth II.

The princess is famous for restyling her pieces and relaying on affordable accessorising options, as she wore a golden embroidered, floor-length white dress at BAFTAs 2020. She was seen wearing the same dress, also by Alexander McQueen, that she had first worn in Malaysia 2012.
