PUBG Mobile launches new items, events for holy month Ramadan

To welcome the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan and support the global stay home and social distancing initiatives, PUBG Mobile today offers gratitude to its fans across the world, with the launch of new Middle Eastern-inspired skins and in-game events.

Players will have the chance to accomplish missions to collect dates. These can be redeemed in-game for rewards and items. There will also be a Ramadan sign-in event, and if players sign-in for seven consecutive days they will receive a permanent lantern as a reward.

New skins and items will be available exclusively from the Ramadan crate and include Arabian-themed outfits and gear. The items are inspired by traditional Arabian designs, bringing a unique Middle Eastern flair to classic battleground gameplay.

Additionally, the Lucky Spin will give fans the chance to win items to play in true luxurious style, with suits, items, and vehicles bedazzled in high-end jewels.

PUBG Mobile encourages fans and players across the world to use the month of Ramadan as a time for family, reflection, devotion, gratitude, generosity and self-improvement.

“We thank our fans and players for their support over the past two years.” said Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing Department.

“We may be separated physically with our friends, but that doesn’t mean we can’t connect in meaningful ways through our shared love of games. We encourage all PUBG Mobile players to safeguard their health by staying home, and closely following advice from the medical community. Let’s show our team spirit by continuing to enjoy PUBG Mobile in a fun and healthy way.”

In the spirit of Ramadan and the World Health Organization’s social distancing initiatives, PUBG Mobile provides a platform for family and friends to connect online during the Holy Month via special Ramadan and Arabian themed in-game events and activities – which are intended to be enjoyed in a balanced and responsible way.

PUBG MOBILE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.

As for PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile is based on PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, the phenomenon that took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote island to battle in a winner-takes-all showdown.

Players must locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone.
