Regaining NU Land Session Adjourned Till Oct. 21

The Administrative Judiciary Court has adjourned the lawsuit which filed by the MP Hamdy Al Fakharny, in which he is calling for canceling the decision of transforming the Nile University from a private to a civil one, till October 12th session.

Hamdy Al Fakharny has filed the lawsuit against the chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), the Prime Minister, Minister of Higher Education, the chairman of the Urban Community Authority.

He called for canceling the the concession decisions of the university’s land, and returning back the lands to the Nile University, as well issuing a decree by the president that transforms it to a civil, non-profit university.

The Administrative Judiciary court has referred the lawsuit which filed by Dr Said Behairy against the Prime Minister and the minister of Higher Education and the legal representative of the Nile University. The lawsuit is calling for not implementing the decision of the Supreme Council for Civil and Private Universities issued in January 2011 over approving the transformation of the university.
