S. Korea’s unemployment rate dips in Nov. ’24

South Korea’s unemployment rate recorded 2.2 per cent in November 2024, down 0.1 percentage point from the same period last year. The number of unemployed individuals fell to 656,000, a 3.1 per cent year-on-year decrease.

While, the number of employed persons in South Korea reached 28.821 million in November 2024, a slight increase of 0.4 per cent year-on-year. The employment-to-population ratio remained steady at 63.2 per cent.
