Sayed Al Khayati Named President of Egypt’s Customs Authority

A decision of appointing Fouad Sayed Al Khayati as a chairman of the Egyptian Customs Authority, instead of Mohamed Al Salhay, was taken Wednesday morning by the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr Hesham Kandil.

Fouad Sayyed Al Khayati, Head of the Central Administration, at the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, was strongly selected among several nominees for the post. Those nominees encompassed Mohamed Al Salhay, the Acting Head f the Egyptian Customs Authority, Mohamed Hendi- Chairman of Security sector, financial and administrative services in the authority, in addition to Mahmoud Abou Al Alla, Chairman of Human Resources Sector.

Al Salhay was appointed as acting chairman of the Egyptian Customs Authority in 24th August 2012 for a year, till announcing the results of the competition of choosing senior leaders in the Ministry of Finance and the chairmen of the affiliated authorities.
