Turkish Co. Seeks Establishing EGP3 bln Glass Factory In Egypt

The Turkish company Shesha Gam has submitted a demand to the ministry of industry and foreign trade in order to construct a factory for producing glass jars in Egypt with EGP 3 billion investment cost.

Zaki Ekinci, Chairman of Turkish-Egyptian Businessmen Association (TUMİAD), told Amwal Al Ghad that the company is ready to inject investments immediately after getting the necessary approval from the concerned government authorities in Egypt. He referred that the company’s production will be distributed on the Egyptian market, as well exporting to the global market.

The chairman said the association was a mediator to attract the company to invest in the Egyptian market through elaborating more features that the Egyptian economy has; for example the workforce and its low wage. Moreover,  the law materials are provided, also the markets that needed for marketing the production, the administrative facilities the government provides to the foreign investors.
