The United States market closed low on Thursday with the Dow falling by -0.73 percent to 35,260.31, losing 259.81 points.

S&P 500 dropped by -0.67 percent and lost 30.40 points to close at 4,536.35.

NASDAQ inched down by -0.63 percent and lost 88.97 points to close at 14,038.31.
