Dr. Mohamed Omran, the Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange, announced that the Egyptian bourse management will be holding a workshop with its Turkish counterpart on Wednesday aiming to review the final procedures as well as steps in the joint-trading project between the two stock exchanges.
Omran emphasized on the importance of the having a joint bourse with Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) as it will allure further foreign investors and financial institutions to trade in the Egyptian market.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Baltaci – the Executive Vice Chairman of Istanbul Stock Exchange, said the Turkish bourse management is holding a meeting with the Egyptian counterpart on Tuesday to discuss the joint bourse project followed by holding a workshop for the project on Wednesday.
