Gold prices in Egypt decline EGP 10 per gram on Wednesday

Gold prices in Egypt today decreased 10 Egyptian pounds ($0.63) per gram as global Gold pricces fell below $2,000 an ounce on Wednesday on steadied dollar.

The price of 21-carat gold, the most popular in the local market, declined to around 887 Egyptian pounds

The price of 24-carat gold has registered 1003 Egyptian pounds. The 18-carat gold also sees lower prices to around 752 pounds

Spot gold was down 0.7 percent at $1,987.36 per ounce by 0654 GMT, after hitting a one-week high of $2,014.97 on Tuesday.

U.S. gold futures fell 0.8 percent to $1,997.70.
